Nose
Vivid esters lift a bright bouquet of pear, green apple and banana, with citrus zest and delicate white florals. Ginjo-sake fruitiness lingers, clean and slightly creamy, carried on a yeast-forward aroma that speaks to the Nikka Discovery experiments.
Palate
Estery and fruit-forward, with notes of ripe pear, green apple, and citrus zest that recall Ginjyo sake. A subtle malt sweetness underpins the fruit, while the 48% ABV lends warmth. The finish is clean, long, and gently spiced.
Finish
Long, airy finish, with bright esters lingering like a Ginjyo glow. Pear and citrus ride a delicate mineral backbone, while a whisper of vanilla and gentle spice echoes as the warmth fades, leaving a refined, polished fade that beckons another sip.
