About Old & Rare Rum

Old & Rare Rum brings together mature, discontinued and highly sought-after bottles from historic producers and celebrated rum-making regions. The category includes long-aged rums, vintage bottlings, limited editions, single casks and releases from distilleries or brands that have since changed or disappeared.

Older rum can offer a fascinating view of historic production styles from the Caribbean, Central and South America and beyond. Bottles from producers in Jamaica, Barbados, Guyana, Trinidad and other established rum regions can become particularly desirable when they feature long maturation, discontinued labels or spirit from closed distilleries and former estates.

Rarity can result from limited original production, decades of ageing, discontinued ranges, single-cask outturns or dwindling stocks from historic distilleries. These bottles are often valued for their provenance, age and regional character, giving collectors and enthusiasts the opportunity to explore rum styles and production methods that may no longer be widely available.
