Signatory Vintage was founded in 1988 by Andrew Symington and his brother after Symington developed an interest in single cask whisky while working at Prestonfield House Hotel in Edinburgh. Its first release was a 1968 Glenlivet, and the company grew from an Edinburgh-based independent bottler into one of Scotland’s most established names for single cask and small batch Scotch whisky.
