About Dom Perignon
Dom Pérignon is the prestige Champagne cuvée of Moët & Chandon, named after the Benedictine monk Dom Pierre Pérignon of Hautvillers. The Champagne is now part of Moët Hennessy within LVMH, with Vincent Chaperon serving as Chef de Cave. Dom Pérignon is made only as a vintage Champagne, meaning each release comes from a single harvest year rather than a multi-vintage blend.
The style is built around long ageing, precision and the balance between Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, with each vintage released only when it meets the house’s standard. The core Dom Pérignon Vintage is aged for at least eight years before release, while Dom Pérignon Rosé and Plénitude 2 sit alongside it as later-matured or more limited expressions.
