The Macallan and James Bond, two enduring Scottish and British icons, reunite in 2026 to celebrate the legacy of classic British cinema. This limited edition release marks the 55th anniversary of Diamonds Are Forever.

Distilled in 2007 and matured for 18 years in a combination of sherry and red wine seasoned American and European oak casks, the whisky offers refined notes of sweet polished oak, vanilla bean and rich dried fruits. Smooth and inviting, the palate unfolds with creamy vanilla and caramel, followed by hints of cocoa powder, champagne truffles, coffee, dried figs, berries and apricots. The finish is long, elegant and lingering, leaving a lasting impression of balance and sophistication.

The Macallan
Macallan was founded by Alexander Reid in 1824 on the Easter Elchies Estate above the River Spey, and it was one of the first distilleries in Scotland to become legally licensed. The name comes from the older place name “Maghellan”, combining the Gaelic magh for fertile ground with a reference to St Fillan, who was associated with the church that once stood on the estate. Easter Elchies House, which remains central to the brand’s identity, dates from around 1700 and still sits at the heart of the estate.
