Tasting Notes
Colour
Dark golden amber with coppery, sunlit highlights.
Nose
Vanilla and polished American oak lead, wrapped around sun-warmed orchard fruits. Honeyed citrus zest and dried apricot interlace with almond and a whisper of spice—cinnamon and nutmeg—while a light toffee sweetness lingers in the background.
Palate
On the palate, velvet texture coats polished oak and vanilla, revealing a core of dried fruit. Rich raisins and fig mingle with orange zest, toffee and dark chocolate, with cinnamon and clove notes. The mouthfeel is warm and full, energized by cask-strength spice, leading to a long, nutty cacao finish and a whisper of sherry sweetness.
Finish
Long, warming finish that unfolds with vanilla, toffee, dried fig and orange zest, framed by polished oak and gentle spice. The 57.2% ABV lingers as a resinous, cocoa-tinged tail, fading to a refined whisper.
