The Macallan Sherry Oak 18 Years Old forms part of Macallan's Sherry Oak Collection which features a series of single malt whiskies matured in hand-picked sherry seasoned oak casks from Jerez for richness and complexity. A full bodied palate of mature oak, ginger and raisin flavours is complimented by a light mahogany natural colour.
The 1993 vintage of this all time Sherry classic bottled in 2011, as ever this is very limited, very complex and very amazing.

Nose
Opulent sherry-driven aroma floods the glass with rich dried fruit, raisin and fig, brightened by orange zest and almonds. Layered with toasted oak, ginger spice and a hint of cocoa, it exudes mahogany-dark warmth and luxurious complexity.
Palate
Full-bodied and luxurious, the palate presents a mature oak backbone with ginger spice and raisin sweetness. Rich and velvety, it glides to a warm, lingering finish with sherry depth.
Finish
Long, warming finish of mature oak with ginger and raisin notes lingering, carried by a gentle sherry warmth. Dried fruit echo remains as the malt slowly fades to a refined, lasting impression.
