Palate

An opulent, balanced palate of sweet dried fruit—raisin, date, sultana, fig—paired with dry, meaty treacle-tinged notes and nutty oloroso wood. Spices—ginger, nutmeg, clove, cinnamon—unfold with waxy orange, smoked glace cherry, sticky toffee and caramelised apple, finished with savoury leathery depth and a rich, long mouthfeel.

Finish

A long, chewy finish of rich dried fruit, savory honey-baked meat, aromatic tobacco and spicy, nutty sherry wood, with Cognac-like grapey complexity and a lingering note of dark chocolate and orange bitters.
