About Partagas
Partagás is one of the great historic Cuban cigar brands, founded in Havana in 1845 by Don Jaime Partagás. For many years its famous factory stood at 520 Industria Street, behind the Capitolio in the centre of Havana, before production later moved to San Carlos Street. The name remains one of the most recognisable in the Habanos portfolio.
Partagás cigars are handmade using selected tobacco from Vuelta Abajo in Pinar del Río, Cuba’s most important tobacco-growing region. The style is known for full strength, rich aroma and intense flavour, with key cigars including Serie D No. 4, Lusitanias, 8-9-8, Serie P No. 2 and the Maduro line.
