This 24 year old single cask rum comes from a renowned Jamaican distillery known for its bold, funky character. The nose is vibrant and expressive, with overripe pineapple, banana, and orange peel layered over molasses, toasted oak, and a hint of spice. The palate is rich yet balanced, delivering ripe tropical fruit, brown sugar, and warming ginger and clove, all supported by integrated oak. The finish is long and characterful, with lingering dried fruit, cocoa, and gentle spice. Matured for 18 years in Jamaica, and a further six years in Europe in Ferand Cognac casks. Bottled at cask strength.

Planteray was founded in 1999 by Alexandre Gabriel under Maison Ferrand, and for most of its life was known as Plantation Rum before being renamed Planteray in 2024. The brand has built its identity around exploring rum terroirs from across the Caribbean and beyond, working with distillers in places such as Barbados, Jamaica, Fiji and Mauritius rather than limiting itself to one country or one house style.
