Jamaica has one of the Caribbean’s most distinctive rum traditions, with historic producers including Appleton Estate, Hampden Estate, Worthy Park and Long Pond. High-ester styles are particularly associated with the island, bringing intense notes of tropical fruit, banana, pineapple, spice and fermentation-derived complexity.

Jamaican rum can include both unaged and matured expressions, with oak ageing adding flavours of vanilla, caramel, dried fruit and toasted wood.
