Colour
An opulent spectrum of gold—pale straw to sunlit honey, deepening to warm amber with coppery glints.
Nose
An inviting trifecta of aromas: Yamazaki offers orchard fruits, honeyed vanilla and a red-wine/sherry depth; Hakushu contributes herbal notes, a gentle pine smoke and citrus zest; Chita adds delicate grain sweetness—vanilla, almond, toffee—woven with sherry and wine-cask nuances, for a refined, elegant bouquet.
Palate
Silky and vibrant, the palate unfolds with layered richness: Yamazaki offers dark fruit, fig, cocoa, and sherry-wine depth; Hakushu delivers light smoke, herbal notes, green apple, and a touch of pine; Chita adds polished grain sweetness—vanilla, toffee, almond—spun with gentle spice. Together they finish warm, nuanced, and lingering.
Finish
An elegant, lingering finish that unfolds in stages: first a sherried sweetness and red-fruit depth from Yamazaki, then a delicate herbal smoke from Hakushu, finishing with a clean, creamy grain warmth from Chita. Oak, vanilla and citrus zest weave through, leaving a balanced, refined aftertaste with subtle spice.
