Chichibu Ichiro's Malt - On The Way #4 Japanese Single Malt Whisky

Ichiro’s Malt Chichibu On The Way 2024 is the fourth release in this series of single malt whiskies from Chichibu in Japan. This series shows a snapshot of the current whisky style at the distillery whilst they are “on the way” to an ongoing ten year-old release.

This whisky has bright and elegant notes of kumquat, peach, and sweet vanilla, with a touch of honey and citrus peel. On the palate is a richness from the barley along with a creamy character, displaying hints of ripe peach and plum. The finish is long and elegant with plum and biscuit characters, ending with orchard fruits.
