Golden amber with honeyed warmth and a sunlit copper glow.

Nose

Aromas of conference pear rise over toasted malt, followed by crisp red apples and a delicate kiss of fruitcake spice.

Palate

Floral honey drizzles over ripe stone fruits, complemented by vanilla cream for a creamy, fruit-forward palate.

Finish

Crisp pear notes return, paired with velvety milk chocolate, leaving a graceful, fruit-driven finish that lingers with gentle sweetness.

Chichibu
(chee-CHEE-boo) Chichibu was founded by Ichiro Akuto and began distilling in 2008 in Saitama Prefecture, at a time when new Japanese whisky distilleries were still rare. Akuto had already made his name by rescuing casks from his family’s closed Hanyu distillery and bottling them as Ichiro’s Malt, so Chichibu arrived with a strong sense of continuity as well as a fresh start.
