Nikka Yoichi Rum Wood Finish Single Malt Japanese Whisky
In stock
The 2017 bottling of Yoichi that was finished in rum casks for a year before release.
Expectantly fruity on the nose with BBQ pineapple, mango and banana, there's also a sugared spicy note mixed in with soft smoke. Palate wise, there is much more of the classic bourbon cask element, slighlty greener fruit, coconut and vanilla flavours, woody spice and more prevalent peat smoke. The finish is lingering with a slight bitter chocolate edge.
