Great combination of sweet, spice, oak, aromatics and fruit and all in perfect harmony and did i mention how luxurious the mouthfeel and finish is on this? This is evidence that BLEND is NOT a dirty word when it comes to whisky as this would be on my shortlist of the truly great whiskies of the world.

Colour
Brilliant honey-gold with warm amber depths and coppery highlights.
Nose
An elegant bouquet of sweet, aromatic fruit entwines with lush toffee and honeycomb, touched by cocoa powder and dark chocolate. Peach melba, black cherry and frangipane drift through, delivering a refined, gourmand aroma with velvet undertones.
Palate
Rich and juicy on the palate, delivering chocolate and cherry with marzipan and rum raisin, braided with mocha and a note of mint. Peppery aromatic spice, toasted vanilla and dark honey mingle with gingerbread and treacle tart, yielding luxurious sweetness and elegant depth.
Finish
A luxurious, lingering finish of French toast and toffee, rippling into mocha and minty chocolate, with black cherry notes, then creme brulee, treacle sponge and vanilla custard fading into velvet warmth.
