Following the acclaimed Nikka Discovery Series and The Nikka Nine Decades, a new chapter unfolds in 2025. To celebrate this year’s appointment of Junji Iseki as the new Chief Blender of NIKKA WHISKY, the Japanese house proudly introduces The Nikka Limited.
This limited edition honours the brand’s heritage and the timeless art of blending, passed down through generations at NIKKA WHISKY.
Chief Blenders Ozaki and Iseki have carefully selected whiskies that highlight their blending skills and reflect their unique journeys within NIKKA WHISKY. This collaboration has given birth to a blended whisky that includes rare expressions such as the Yoichi 1989 Mizunara cask, the Miyagikyo 1979 Mizunara cask, and Ben Nevis casks from the 1980s.

Tasting Notes
Nose
Soft, gentle peat drifts through notes of salted caramel and vanilla crème brûlée. Hints of warm oak and spice linger in the background, lifted by a touch of toasted sesame and bright green citrus.
Palate
A rich harmony of dark fruits and warm spice, balanced by layers of cocoa and mature oak. Hints of dried cherry and honeyed malt add depth, creating a smooth, rounded character.
Finish
Bold and extraordinary, the finish unfolds with smoky complexity and lavish notes of dried fruit, layered with hints of spiced oak, toasted nuts, and dark chocolate.
