A trio of releases from Nikka. Blended from their distilleries Yoichi and Miyagikyo. This 50cl Red release is ''Fruity & Soft''.

This has perhaps the highest grain content of the three and so this gives this whisky a particularly clean and spicy taste. The nise has light fruit notes, apple and pear, a touch of vanilla and woodey spice. The palate is very clean and dry with wood spice. Dry and short on the finish with a touch of woody tannin. An digestif whisky.

Nikka
Nikka was founded in 1934 by Masataka Taketsuru, one of the key figures in the birth of Japanese whisky. The company began as Dai Nippon Kaju, with Yoichi Distillery completed the same year in Hokkaido, and the first bottle of Nikka Whisky followed in 1940. A second major milestone came in 1969 with the opening of Miyagikyo Distillery, giving Nikka two very different malt whisky styles to work with and helping define the house’s approach to blending.
