Comprising of single malts from Hakushu and Yamazaki along with aged grain from the Chita distillery this blend has won many awards over the years. To complete the package it is provided in what we think is one of the classiest bottles on the market.

The Plum wine liqueur casks that the 12 year old is partially matured in give this super moreish Japanese blend a real fruity edge.

Tasting Notes

Colour

Plum-hued amber with coppery reflections.

Nose

Aromas of ripe plums with hints of new leather and dark chocolate, entwined with rich barley and biscuity grain, and a touch of honeycomb sweetness.

Palate

Silky richness of toffee and aromatic spices coats the palate, then unfolds with luscious stewed plums, marzipan, and sherry-soaked orange segments, leaving a warm, lingering sweetness and a delicate citrus lift.

Finish

Rum and raisin fudge lingers with a creamy, spiced vanilla cheesecake glow, finishing with plum jam on French toast—a plush, lingering sweetness that coats the palate with warm, fruit-laced richness.
