Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber-gold with coppery highlights and a warm, sunlit glow.
Nose
Coastal peat smoke rolls across the nose, salted with sea spray and iodine. Sherry-derived sweetness yields dried fig and plum, dark chocolate and a touch of leather, brightened by orange zest and vanilla, all wrapped in a mineral, saline oak cloak.
Palate
Silky, oil-rich palate coats with bold peat and sea-salt brine, tempered by sherry-dark fruit and cocoa. Dried fig and date sweetness threads through toasted spice, while a velvety smoke lingers, finishing long with maritime mineral and toffee echoes.
Finish
Long, warming and finely peated, this Brora finishes with coastal smoke that lingers like sea mist. Sherry-sweetened fruit—raisins, figs, a dash of orange peel—unfolds through the palate, carried by spice and a saline, coastal echo that fades to a lasting, velvet warmth.
