Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with coppery highlights and a mahogany glow.
Nose
Intense peat smoke and iodine rise from the glass, edged with coastal salt and mineral brine. Layered beneath, rich oak provides vanilla, cacao and dried dark fruit, while charred timber and a subtle medicinal note weave into a peppery, lingering finish.
Palate
Powerful peat and oil-slick texture frame a smoke-drenched palate. Deep notes of charcoal, iodine and sea salt meet dark treacle, fig and cocoa, with sherry-influenced dried fruit lending warm sweetness. The 58.9% ABV delivers a peppery warmth that sustains through a long, resinous, smoky finish.
Finish
Long, smoky finish with bold peat and coastal resin, carried by concentrated oak. The smoke lingers with character—char and spice washing through the palate—gradually fading into a refined, persistent warmth.
