Tasting Notes
Colour
Bright amber-gold with coppery highlights and a warm honey glow, rich like sunlit bronze.
Nose
Fresh sooty citrus, white pepper, oily elderflower cordial, and fresh green herbs meet a charred pineapple dusted with peaty vanilla.
Palate
Fresh, spicy peat dominates the palate, interwoven with vegetal and seaweed notes, green herbs, and an oily citrus backbone. Lime and elderflower cordial brighten the mid-palate, finishing with a lively maritime lift and the unmistakable, youthful Ardbeg peat.
Finish
A lighter, cleaner finish, a fresh procession of Ardbeg’s flavours, herbal brightness interlaced with aromatic peat that lingers softly.
