Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep, sun-kissed amber with a warm copper-gold core and subtle mahogany edges.
Nose
Smoke-kissed and waxy, this nose opens with smoked candle wax, eccles cakes with dark marmalade, and toasted coconut. Marzipan lends an oily edge while whitecurrants sparkle, joined by herbal and anise notes that lend a poised, lingering lift.
Palate
Oily palate-coating white chocolate truffles mingle with white berries, smoked elderflower and aromatic herbal honey, while waxy orange and a minerally white wine backbone lend a refined, enduring profile.
Finish
An expansive finish of spicy anise and herbal honey lingers, with cool menthol lifting the palate and toasted coffee bean notes. Oily stock syrup fattens the texture, while a subtle smoke threads through waxy marmalade, leaving a lingering, resinous sweetness.
