The Macallan Genesis 2018 Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky
In stock
A bottle to go down in history, not least because of the chaos it caused at the distillery on the day the first 300 bottles were unleashed in August 2018.
Rumor has it that the Police helicopter wasn't there to control the crowds but was trying to land on the roof of the Distillery shop thus jumping the queue.
Presented in a beautiful box containing a signed lithographic print of the distillery, signed by Graham Stark, the lead architect, on Italian cotton paper.
Limited to just 2500 bottles Worldwide this is sure to become another one of those must have Macallan's for the serious collector.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep burnished copper-gold with a ruby-tinged amber glow, rich and inviting as a sunset over the Highlands.
Nose
Opulent sherry aroma wrapped in polished oak, with dark cherries and dried figs, raisins and plum, brightened by orange zest. Hints of almond, milk chocolate and warm spice mingle with subtle leather, delivering a luxurious, lingering complexity.
Palate
Silky and indulgent on the palate, Genesis 2018 unfurls with dark fig and plum, raisin and candied orange, cloaked in rich sherry and woven with cocoa, leather and nutmeg. Velvet toffee sweetness balances spicy oak, leaving a long, warming finish that embodies Macallan’s refined, oak-driven elegance.
Finish
Long, luxurious finish coats the palate with dark fruit, cocoa and treacle, threaded by spice and polished oak. A velvety warmth lingers, evolving into citrus zest and roasted almond before fading to refined dryness and a final kiss of oak.
