Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep antique gold with warm amber and coppery highlights.
Nose
Bold maritime peat and smoke rise with saline iodine and coastal brine, wrapped in a waxy oak sheen. Rich sherry influence brings dark fruit—fig, prune, orange zest—touched by cocoa, toffee and toasted almond. A vanilla thread brightens the profile, yielding an elegant, age-woven perfume that promises a long, refined finish.
Palate
Opulent on the palate, dense coastal peat and iodine mingle with lush sherry sweetness. Rich dark fruit—fig, prune, blackberry—coats the tongue with molasses and brown sugar, while vanilla, cacao and spice glow beside savory, salted almond notes. A bold, oily mouthfeel; waves of smoke tighten to a long, resinous finish framed by charred oak and lingering maritime warmth.
Finish
Long, maritime finish of coastal peat and sea-salt, lacquered with rich sherry sweetness. Smoke lingers with waxy density, then dissolves into mineral brine, dark tea, and a hint of citrus zest, finishing with a warm, peppery glow that persists on the palate.
