Out of stock
Quite simply staggering, and we really can't thank the boys at Bruichladdich enough for continuing with the Octomore as a series. These early Octomore bottles are becoming really collectable and consequentially their value keeps increasing.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with coppery highlights and a warm, mahogany-tinged glow.
Nose
Pristine peat smoke and iodine-brine rise from the glass, sharpened by bright citrus zest and cracked pepper. A glossy sherry warmth threads through the smoke, revealing dark chocolate and caramelized orchard fruit, with a mineral, coastal edge that lingers in the aroma.
Palate
Explosive peat smoke unfurls over a sumptuous sherry backbone: dark raisin, fig and cocoa with a bright hint of orange zest. Full, velvety mouthfeel; at 62.5% ABV the warmth is immediate, peppery and invigorating. The finish is long and maritime, brine and iodine mingling with smoke, leaving a resinous, cocoa-dusted echo on the palate.
Finish
An immense, lingering finish of sea-salted peat and charred wood, slowly softening into rich sherried sweetness. Dried fruit, cocoa nib and spice emerge before fading to a whisper of coastal brine and ash. A powerful, warming close that clings with smoky length long after the sip.
