Distilled using 100% Scottish Mainland Concerto Barley, and aged 5 years in Oloroso, Bordeaux, Madeira and Moscatel casks. Malted to 101.4 PPM.
Using the same batch of Scottish barley, malted to the same 101.4PPM, the 16.2 has been housed in a fine selection of Oloroso and Bordeaux casks before being finished in Maderia and Portuguese Moscatel for a rich and complex flavour. Caremalised sugar, roasted nuts, and dried fruits abound, enveloped in sweet campfire smoke.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber-gold with a coppery glow and a mahogany-tinged rim, evoking sunset over a smoky hearth.
Nose
Opulent peat and sweetness on the nose: caramelized sugar and roasted nuts mingle with dried fruits such as raisins, figs and dates, while a rich campfire smoke drifts through, lifted by Oloroso, Madeira and Moscatel casks.
Palate
Caramelised sugar blends with roasted nuts and dried fruits, lifted by sweet campfire smoke. Rich, peated warmth coats the tongue, as sherry- and wine-cask sweetness lingers into a nutty, smoky finish.
Finish
Long, indulgent finish of sweet campfire smoke, with caramelised sugar lingering beside roasted nuts and dried fruits. Madeira and Moscatel sweetness cushions a softly toasted, ember-kissed fade.
