Colour

Initial lemon zest sharpens with wet peat and salty minerality, while pencil shavings lend a chalky edge. Peach yoghurt entwines with cinder toffee and smoky peat, framed by green fruit and malty sweetness. With time, honeyed malt sugar, dried grass and a whisper of ginger and wood spice emerge, weaving Islay’s maritime breeze through the aroma.

Palate

Brown sugar sweetness opens the palate, then a clean, supple texture carries a warming chilli heat. Apricot, peach yoghurt and stone fruit mingle with vanilla, toasted oak and soft toffee, while brown sugar lingers. Maritime minerality and citrus thread Bruichladdich DNA through, leaving a lingering sense of Islay's sea-air on the finish.

Finish

Long, sculpted finish of malt and immense peat, earthy and oily, with tar and the smoky memory of bonfires. Vanilla honey and ginger spice emerge, wrapping in a syrupy sweetness that lingers, leaving a warm maritime glow on the palate and a whisper of coastal smoke.
