The quiet passing of time, together with a unique and intriguing maturation profile, has profoundly shaped this 10 year old spirit.
Butterscotch and molasses complement Octomore’s signature peat smoke, with layers of spice adding to the complexity of the single malt Scotch whisky.
Maturation Profile: A base of Octomore aged in first fill bourbon (50%) was layered with spirit aged in Pineau des Charentes casks (15%), second fill Pedro Ximénez sherry butts (25%) and first fill red wine casks (10%). All casks were blended and left to marry for the final six months of aging before bottling.

Dried fruit swells beside rich butterscotch and caramel, with buttered popcorn weaving through fragrant peat smoke, inviting a warm, savory sweetness to the senses.

Sweet smoked fruit balanced with vanilla, Manuka honey, subtle spices and toasted oak.
Finish
Wood spices, coffee and charred oak mingle as delicate peat smoke and burnt heather linger.
