Colour

Golden amber with a warm coppery glow, a sunlit honey tone that glows in the glass.

Nose

Earthy smoke and rich toasted oak open the nose, with hints of almond, honey and candied peels. The toasted oak unfurls spice and sweet vanilla, then nutmeg, sweet tablet, syrup, chocolate and smoky aniseed emerge. Citrus notes cut through the smoke, revealing candied peel and grapefruit, as the oak’s depth balances elegantly with the peat.

Palate

Sweet and structured, with a robust, weighty mouthfeel that carries the spirit’s strength. Toasted oak leads, followed by tobacco, sweet tablet, golden syrup and clove-spiced honey. Gentle peat smoke underpins the oak-driven sweetness, while candied peel, praline and a bloom of geranium add depth and lift.

Finish

Peat smoke steps forward as the oak fades, revealing smoked fruit, apple, stewed pear and ripe melon. Dried mango and malted barley linger, finished with a maritime, salty tang.
