Building on the structueral brilliance of Octomore spirit this 10.2 edition has spend the first four years of its life in fresh bourbon barrels, before being moved into exceptionally high quality, and incredibly rare Sauternes casks. The reputable chateau who originally managed these casks had filled them three times over with French sweet wine, ollowing the oak to mellow and therefore temper its influence in the subsequental spirit. The combination of the softer smoke and oak influence has created a sublime balance with tropical fruit notes.

Colour
Sunlit golden amber with honeyed warmth and a coppery glow.
Nose
Soft, refined peat smoke envelops vanilla and oak, lifted by the wine-soft sweetness from Sauternes casks. Aromas of apricot, pineapple and mango mingle with honeyed fruit and a whisper of tropical warmth, finishing with an elegant, lingering fruit-forward glow.
Palate
Soft, refined smoke frames a tropical fruit core—apricot, mango and pineapple—brightened by Sauternes cask sweetness and velvety oak. Bourbon maturation lends backbone, while the 56.9% ABV yields warm spice, honeyed vanilla and a long, saline finish that lingers with depth and balance.
Finish
An elongated finish of honeyed sweetness from the Sauternes casks, where the smoke stays gentle yet persistent. Tropical notes of mango, passion fruit and pineapple unfold with vanilla and toasted oak, fading to a warm, elegant glow.
