Produced from Concerto Barley grown on Octomore Farm, this powerful, complex single malt whisky is peated to a formidable 114ppm, and bottled at a robust cask strength of 61.3% ABV. Distilled in 2013 from barley harvested in 2012, this whisky was matured for six years in American oak casks.

Nose

Powerful peat smoke dominates the nose, laced with iodine, sea-salt and mineral brine. Beneath, vanilla and toasted American oak bring warmth, while burnt sugar hints and citrus zest brighten the aroma. Maritime coal notes linger with a coastal restraint, delivering a fearless Islay perfume at cask-strength intensity.
