Matured entirely on Islay for five years in ex-American whiskey casks (5yrs), full term in Jim Beam (51%), Jack Daniel's (26%), Clermont (15%), Old Grand-Dad (8% Bottled unchill-filtered and colouring free at Bruichladdich Distillery, 59.1% alc. / vol.Limited to 42,000 bottles.

Tasting Notes

Nose

Thick, velvety smoke envelops oak, releasing intense cask sweetness—vanilla and cinder-toffee—while peat and earthy undertones creep through. A vegetal, Islay smoke lingers, glossy and resinous, inviting another inhale.

Palate

Soft on the palate- no aggression, nutty, fudge, nougat, delicate coconut and rose petal floral.

Finish

Long peat finish, hints of treacle, warm sand/salt.
