Distilled in 2009 and aged for 8 years, this Octomore 08.4 Masterclass edition is an Islay single malt bottled at a very high strength of 58.7% ABV. Part of Bruichladdich’s experimental Masterclass series, it showcases the distillery’s interpretation of heavily peated spirit from the Octomore program, where very high phenol levels are tempered by careful cask selection and maturation.

An enduring, warming finish of delicate smoke that lingers through leather and toasted oak. Pepper and floral notes ride the peat, slowly fading into a refined, dry sweetness. A long, balanced resolve that leaves the senses soothed by warmth and subtle sophistication.
