Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep dark amber with mahogany depth and coppery glints, a burnished chestnut glow.
Nose
Opulent sherry-driven aroma with ripe plum, fig and raisin, interlaced with orange zest and dark chocolate. Subtle vanilla, toffee and warming spice from the oak creep through, along with toasted almond and a whisper of malt. An elegant, old-world nose that hints at luxury and patience.
Palate
Silky malt takes the lead, caressed by orchard fruit and a delicate toffee sweetness. Dried apple and pear mingle with a hint of raisin, while soft oak and vanilla lend gentle spice. At 40% it remains refined and approachable, a whisper of sherry lending depth to the finish—crisp malt, light warmth, and a lingering, elegant sweetness.
Finish
Long and refined, the finish unfolds with warm oak and spice, lingering notes of dried fruit, raisin and toffee, then a soft sherry sweetness fades into a subtle cocoa-tinged echo.
