"While not quite as heavy as WIP 1, with less acetone, this still exhibits notes of spice, jasmine and herbs on the nose and big notes of sea brine and clove on the palate, with more herbal notes. This one is slightly more complex, with more spice on the finish."
The 2nd edition with the Grey coloured labels with only 15,000 bottle released in 2010.
As the name suggests a work in progress, but many distilleries would love to have this complexity and elegance at twice the age let alone after just 6 years.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep golden amber with sunlit honey and coppery glints
Nose
Fragrant and aromatic, with subtle sea spray and brine. Herbal barley, coconut, palma violets and pear drops mingle in graceful, inviting layers.
Palate
Full-bodied on the palate, a coastal, saline backbone carries citrusy, spice-kissed peat. Clove mingles with fresh herbs while aromatic honey threads through. Green apples, coconut and vanilla add sweetness and depth, creating a warm, lingering impression with a gentle peaty glow.
Finish
Salty coconut and peat smoke linger with an oily-brine edge, followed by clove honey, aromatic herbs and green fruit—apple dusted with smoked vanilla icing sugar.
