A Campbeltown single malt from Glengyle Distillery’s Kilkerran Heavily Peated series, this Batch #13 is part of an annual limited-edition run that pushes peat intensity beyond the core Kilkerran style. It’s matured predominantly in ex-bourbon casks with a smaller share of sherry wood, then bottled at robust 58.6% ABV without chill-filtration or added colour.

Tasting Notes
Nose
Creamy butterscotch and caramel notes in the beginning, with the development of notes of rye bread and tea leaf.
Palate
A familiar oiliness and smokiness is introduced on the palate, with notes of Iberico ham and brandy snaps.
Finish
A gentle finish, there are notes of lemon sherbet, honeycomb and mint, with peat smoke carrying through to the finish.
