Colour

Luxuriously deep amber with a warm coppery glow and rich mahogany edges.

Nose

Dark marmalade on buttered brown toast meets figs in honey, while hobnob biscuits and peanut brittle add caramelized nuttiness. Nutty nougat threads through, with a subtle hint of earthy peat smoke.

Palate

Spiced peach, salted toffee and buttered oak fuse with roasted nuts and ripe figs. An oily, briny mouthfeel carries a whisper of smoke, echoing peated oat flapjacks.

Finish

A long, savory finish woven from toasted spices and liquorice, with salty smoke and buttery, nutty sherry oak; notes of green figs and runny honey linger, leaving a warm, slightly saline sweetness and a gentle oaked depth.
