Tasting Notes
Nose
Dark marmalade on buttered brown toast, figs in honey, hobnob biscuits, peanut brittle, nutty nougart, subtle earthy peat smoke.
Palate
Spiced peach, salted toffee, buttery oak, roasted nuts, ripe figs, oily and briney mouthfeel with hints of smoke (peated oaty flapjacks?).
Finish
Toasted spices, liquorice, salty smoke, buttery and nutty sherry oak, green figs and runny honey.
