A very different Highland Park and more in common with the recent port cask "Fire" limited edition than the rest of the range.
Very elegant and so easy drinking with the trademark all round well balanced fruit, smoke and spice.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with coppery hues, edged by mahogany tones and a warm honey-gold glow.
Nose
Smoked rose and Turkish delight mingle with aromatic oak and incense sticks, unfolding stewed rhubarb, subtle earthy and leathery notes, red liquorice, and a hint of white pepper on strawberries.
Palate
Rhubarb and custard mingle with aromatic red berries, earthy anise and peppery oak; leathery undertones weave through crunchy redcurrants, with smoke and crunchy tannins lending a persistent, savory finish.
Finish
A long, aromatic finish of peppery spice and smoke, intertwining stewed red fruit with crunchy berries; Turkish delight and rose-wine linger.
