A full Bourbon cask matured whisky release by Highland Park. This Single Malt is 17 years old and bottled at a cask strength of 53.9% abv. This Highland Park Ice is part of a series and it's sister release will be the "Fire" edition.
First fill Ex-Bourbon casks to the fore here but with the trademark Highland park smoke & heather notes showing well too, elegant and some long lasting spice on the finish of this limited release that will melt the ice in your veins on a cold night.

Tasting Notes
Nose
Singed straw and burnt milk open to tropical sweetness: coconut crème brûlée, mango and pineapple kissed by smoke, with baked banana. A bonfire of gorse and heather glows in the background, while smoked almonds and a hint of anise add depth. First-fill bourbon sweetness threads through, delivering elegant spice that invites the palate to lean in.
Palate
Sooty sugared almonds, vanilla pods in coconut milk, spiced white chocolate, burnt straw, pineapple and mango salsa, battenberg cake with apricot glaze, white pepper and subtle smoke.
Finish
Coconut, toasted vanilla, floral/heather notes, sugared almonds, peppery spiced oak, white chocolate, toasted marsmallows, sooty smoke over pineapple.
