The third release of the Kilkerran 8 year old cask strength bottling. This one comes in at a healthy 56.5% abv.
Lightly peated, this has a real kick to it. Quite salty and coastal on the nose, with fresh green apple and vanilla passing through to fresh cut rhubarb. The palate is quite spicy and with a touch of sweetness, both vanilla and light icing sugar come to mind. The finish is long and persistent, quite dry with more coastal (salty) notes and lingering light peat fire.

Long and persistent, the finish stays dry with coastal saline notes and a lingering touch of light peat fire.
