Colour
Deep golden-amber with warm copper highlights and a burnished honey glow, hinting at a rich mahogany edge in the glass.
Nose
A bold veil of peat smoke envelops a briny, sea-air character—iodine, seaweed, and ash mingling with mineral salinity. Within the smoke, vanilla-tinged bourbon sweetness, toffee and oak spice rise, touched by a bright citrus zest.
Palate
Blazing peat takes the lead, whetting the tongue with medicinal smoke, maritime brine and charred vanilla. Full-bodied and velvety, Bourbon-soaked sweetness frames rich toffee, cocoa and spice, while a peppery, coastal bite keeps it lively. The heat from 58.4% ABV tightens into a long, smoky finish with ash and hints of citrus zest.
Finish
Long maritime finish of peat smoke, ash and iodine dissolving into vanilla and caramel from the bourbon cask. Subtle oak and white pepper linger, with a final kiss of salt and cocoa that leaves a warm, persistent glow.
