Nose

Intense sherry aromas envelop the nose, with dark raisin, fig and date laced with orange zest and a touch of almond. Vanilla sweetness, cinnamon and cocoa weave through warm oak, delivering a velvety, fruit-forward fragrance with depth and polish.

Balblair
(bal-BLAIR) Balblair was founded in 1790 by John Ross at Edderton in the Northern Highlands, overlooking the Dornoch Firth. The distillery remained with the Ross family through much of the 19th century, before being rebuilt in 1894 closer to the railway while continuing to use water from the Allt Dearg burn. Later owners included Hiram Walker, and Inver House Distillers acquired Balblair in 1996.
