This 10 year old single malt from the Balblair distillery in the Highland region has been matured in an ex-bourbon cask. It displays a bright and fruit-forward character, with aromas of ripe pear supported by delicate floral notes. The flavour develops into warm pear compote with hints of cinnamon and clove, adding gentle spice and depth. The finish is warming and softly spiced.

Balblair
(bal-BLAIR) Balblair was founded in 1790 by John Ross at Edderton in the Northern Highlands, overlooking the Dornoch Firth. The distillery remained with the Ross family through much of the 19th century, before being rebuilt in 1894 closer to the railway while continuing to use water from the Allt Dearg burn. Later owners included Hiram Walker, and Inver House Distillers acquired Balblair in 1996.
