This 8 year old single malt from Auchroisk in Speyside has been matured in an ex-Pedro Ximénez cask, bringing rich sherried influence to the spirit. Aromas of dry sherry oak are joined by hints of bonfire embers and polished leather. The flavour profile offers sweet dried fruits and almonds, creating a rounded and indulgent character. A warming spice lingers with subtle touches of liquorice root, giving the whisky depth and a gently complex finish.

(oth­-RUSK) Auchroisk was built in 1972 near Mulben in Speyside by IDV, then the parent company of Justerini & Brooks, to provide malt whisky for the J&B blend. Production began in 1974, using water from Dorie’s Well, and the distillery became part of Diageo in 1997 following the merger of Grand Metropolitan and Guinness.
