The first single malt appeared under The Singleton name in 1986, partly because Auchroisk was considered difficult to pronounce outside Scotland. That brand was dropped in 2001, when Auchroisk returned as part of Diageo’s Flora & Fauna range, with later independent bottlings continuing to show the distillery’s character. The style is unpeated and Speyside in profile, with honeyed cereal sweetness, gentle spice and a slightly nutty weight.
