Nose

Fragrant and fruity, with bright redcurrant aromas married to warm spices. A delicate orchard-fruit sweetness mingles with subtle oak vanilla, hinting at the Pineau des Charentes finish and a liqueur-soft, enticing lift.

Palate

Mouthcoatingly sweet malt with delicious summer fruits and more spice.

A good length, with continued spice and fruit.

(oth­-RUSK) Auchroisk was built in 1972 near Mulben in Speyside by IDV, then the parent company of Justerini & Brooks, to provide malt whisky for the J&B blend. Production began in 1974, using water from Dorie’s Well, and the distillery became part of Diageo in 1997 following the merger of Grand Metropolitan and Guinness.
