Nose

Bright orchard fruit on the nose—pear and apple—woven with a soft malt sweetness. Subtle sherry depth hints at dried apricot and almond, glazed with toffee and vanilla. Light oak lends creaminess, while a kiss of spice—cinnamon and clove—adds warmth, finishing with nutty, cocoa-toned perfume.

(oth­-RUSK) Auchroisk was built in 1972 near Mulben in Speyside by IDV, then the parent company of Justerini & Brooks, to provide malt whisky for the J&B blend. Production began in 1974, using water from Dorie’s Well, and the distillery became part of Diageo in 1997 following the merger of Grand Metropolitan and Guinness.
