Distillery Bottling

Full bodied and velvety, the Balblair 15 Year Old has been matured in ex-Bourbon casks and finished in first-fill Spanish Sherry oak butts. This creates a rich, sweet Whisky which is tropical and mature with notes of leatherwood, honey and spicy gingerbread.

Balblair
(bal-BLAIR) Balblair was founded in 1790 by John Ross at Edderton in the Northern Highlands, overlooking the Dornoch Firth. The distillery remained with the Ross family through much of the 19th century, before being rebuilt in 1894 closer to the railway while continuing to use water from the Allt Dearg burn. Later owners included Hiram Walker, and Inver House Distillers acquired Balblair in 1996.
