Tasting Notes
Colour
Natural copper-amber with copper highlights and warm mahogany undertones, a luminous, sherry-kissed hue.
Nose
Opulent sherry aroma floods the senses with dark raisins, fig and prune, braided with orange zest, roasted almond and cocoa. Rich caramel sweetness and polished oak lend warmth and luxury, while a whisper of maritime salt glints through.
Palate
Opulent, mouth-coating palate from a sherry-cask journey: date, fig and raisin enveloped in dark chocolate and treacle; orange zest notes, vanilla-toffee and roasted nuts. Spices—clove and cinnamon—rise with oak undertones and a whisper of maritime salt. Full, warming and richly textured, finishing long with dried fruit and bittersweet chocolate.
Finish
An extended, luxurious finish where sherry influence blankets the palate. Dried fig and raisin linger with orange zest, cocoa and toffee melting into warm spice and oak. A subtle almond dryness grows on the tongue, leaving a long, peppery fade that beckons the next sip.
